About Us
OUR STORY
Sila Atelier was born in Delhi in 2023, out of a frustration Anjali Singhal couldn't ignore.
She looked around and saw a market flooded with mass-produced clothing — brands turning out the same silhouettes season after season, with no soul, no craft, and nothing that felt truly personal. Affordable fashion had become effortless to find. Meaningful fashion had become almost impossible.
Anjali wanted something different. She wanted to create clothing with a design story — pieces that carried a distinct identity, where every detail was a decision and every garment felt like it had been made for someone, not just anyone.
That conviction became Sila Atelier.
THE CRAFT
At Sila, we do not bulk produce. Every piece is made to order — designed, crafted, and finished with full attention from start to finish. We believe the garment you receive should feel as considered as the occasion you are dressing for.
Our signature lies in two techniques that set us apart:
Laser Cut Work — We use precision laser cutting on rexin and suede to create distinctive motifs and design elements that are then applied to our garments by hand. The result is a clean, sharp, three-dimensional detail that no print or embroidery can replicate — a statement that is quiet until you look closely, and then impossible to miss.
Patchwork & Motif Detailing — Each piece features carefully placed patchwork and embellishment work, designed to give every garment a unique visual identity. No two pieces feel the same. That is entirely the point.
THE FABRIC
We work with fabrics chosen for how they feel as much as how they look.
Our collections use 100% cotton for pieces that breathe, drape naturally, and age beautifully — the kind of fabric that feels luxurious precisely because it does not try to. For our more structured silhouettes, we use luxury crepe — a premium polyester-blend fabric with a weighted, refined drape that holds its shape through long evenings and longer celebrations.
Every fabric is selected to complement the construction, not compete with it.
THE FINISH
A Sila garment is finished as carefully on the inside as it is on the outside.
We believe that the quality of a garment is measured not just by what is visible, but by what isn't. Clean internal seams, precise stitching, and a finish that holds — these are not extras at Sila. They are the standard.
When you wear Sila, you are not wearing fast fashion with a premium price tag. You are wearing a piece that was made for you, made with intention, and made to last well beyond the occasion it was created for.
